A Bit Negative, Isn't It?

"Well, I've read your silly blog and, quite frankly, I don't think any of those ideas will work with my serious class of proper students. In any case, they seem actively to encourage learners to role play with negative emotions such as anger, jealousy, pride, annoyance or simple bad temper. I don't think that's very appropriate or sensitive. What have you got to say for yourself? Hmm?"

OK then, bye bye.
If, on the other hand, you think that, in addition to being students, those people sitting in front of you are also human, and that it might do them good to try using the language for a realistic purpose, you're in the right place. You might also share my view that a slightly 'edgy' activity is more likely to be remembered.
The practice tasks here are all original. Some are tried and tested and some, admittedly, are new. Give them a whirl, and why not feedback how you got on!
